If u like this metal band from japan u will like that show. The sound is good (mostly for guitars) and the image clear ( better when it's blue lights).The musicians are statics but the stage is not very wide.
New live TV show from Scorpions, the shipyard at Gdansk, poland. in june. 4th. 2009. A really good show for almost one hour with many cameras everywhere, the stage is big ( two screen on each side and one in the middle). The place is well known ( remenber the last show of david glimour) to accommodate a big crowd. The band is in really good health, Schenker has still the rock star 's attitude, good vibe from the drumer james Kotak ( did he take a red bull before playing ?).Nothing about the set list, many old titles from "love at first sting"....They even played an encore, one additional song " wind of change".....of course, we are in the East.
official dvd with a punky menu....A really nice crazy movie about Sex pistols, quiet anarchic, old videos " anarchy in the UK"....Sometimes boring but funny to see one time.U have a bonus interview of Julien Temple without subtitle.
A show recorded in May 2003 at the gods Festival by a fan. U get a menu and also a view of the pre show party in a pub ( u can see Andrew of melodicrock web site). Just know is made by only one camera...so it's flickering sometimes...but it's worth the trip.For the show, the cam is on the right side. Good image and correct lively sound ( should be more wise to put the camera in the centre to get a better vision).Nonetheless, it's a nice bootleg even sometimes u see a man cross the stage " Joanna" ....not very pro !Stan use acoustic or electric guitars. Even if hard rock is go down in Japan, u still find some festival and good TV chanel to film it. The set list is quiet short but efficient: Eyes Of A Panther, Asian Hooker, Fat Girl (Thar She Blows), Community Property; Guitar Solo, Party All Day (Fuck All Night), Death To All But Metal.....The show i get has a good sound, many cameras, the look is a come back of 80's ( hair metal a go go with leather jackets, zebra-striped spandex, blonde hair.... ). So if u like the band go to watch this gig recorded in Japan, Loud park Festival.
Sabaton is a power metal band from Falun, Sweden formed in 1999. "Live at the Rockstad Falun" recorded in 2008 as a bonus dvd is a good present for fans. The dvd has a nice menu with bonus three war videos ( professional and well done).U will get the full show in a good quality , full screen, good sound. Nice preformance mostly from the frontman Joakim Broden. The crowd's energy is there ( of course, they're at home). Just one think, it's getting long to watch as a whole show and too many changing plans.Just to remind u , for a dvd bonus, u will have material to be satisfied.

The stage is huge ( of course, it was a german's festival) and the foggy lightshow is basic ( but u will have some flames).The image is good , full screen and the sound clear (it's better for this death metal).Good product for fans. Mind ur neck !
A pro dvd from Soulfly, a show recorded in july 5 2008, at the Eurockeennees festival ( old festival in east of France, Belfort). The dvd has a menu to select tracks, the image is good in 4:3. Many cameras were used to film a nice show. Very good sound ( mostly for guitars) and and a great audience ( headbanding is the motto of the day). U will have also songs from the brutal legend Sepultura " territory" or the killing "roots bloody roots"...

About the quality of show is: NTS. The image is full screen and beautiful with a big stage. Two screens of each side of the stage with red lights and smog. People are satisfied and sing at the top of one's voice.A wonderful come back, a long awaited show. A pleasure to see.
The dvd has a menu and a chapters section. That show is famous cause Seb's rant about the local authorities ( he read the paper during the show) attempting to ban them from performing the song "Get the FUCK Out" ( now it looks so childish) and also because they opened for Guns N Roses at Wembley ( the ultimate recognition in UK).The show is pro, the image is correct ( in 4:3), the vibe is here, like Bach said " can u feel the spirit of Rock n roll".....So a good visual ( yes ladis, a time when Bach was stripped to the waist), a good attitude with a music quiet punky "riot act" , mostly by the following song "18 and life "....funny transition. Could be very good with a sound a bit less untidy...."psycho love".

All the stage are beautiful to watch, even if i prefer the great light show work of Wacken 2009 but i also like the big screen of the Wacken 2007.A pleasure to listen "the crusader" and this typical intro from 80's.Big atmosphere, the vibe is here so u know what to do and If u have money, u should get the limited 1000 copies box set. Very limited box but this exclusive package contains the Best Of Wacken DVD ( like this one), plus the full and complete Saxon W:O:A performances from 2004/2007/2009 each on a separate DVD , plus a Saxon flag. The most original surprise is that ten Golden Tickets are included in the box sets, which will allow the lucky winners to visit any Saxon concert in any city around the world

Moreover, the set is only acoustic (a perfect dream for the thirty guests that night ). A set list with songs from the Guns "civil war", Velvet or Slash 's solo album.A challenge for every musicians and a big present for music lover.Just one thing, it's not very long...
So for this farewell Jörg tour here is the line up: Timo Kotipelto - Vocals, Matias Kupiainen - Guitars,Lauri Porra - Bass, Jens Johansson - Keyboards, Jorg Michael - Drums. U will get a powefrull show in Finland with a big set list ( with classic musicla roots "burn " & "behind the blue eyes") and very good full screen image. A nice show for fans. The band is vibrant with health ( except the voice under mix), the show has good vibes and the audience excellent.But with all these millions musical notes , u will have a headache. U have been warned !
