You want to know every DVD about you fav' band? it

What a dvd  with 17 original videos & 17 live performances for almost 3 hours of material.A sound in Dolby2.0 or 5.1 and an image in 16/9.Of course, the live performance have not the same quality, sometimes quiet dark "u give love a bad name" or clear "In these arms" , it depends of the original document.U will get two unreleased videos/live "what do u got ?" ( recorded in Peru, a soft song not very exciting... but big stage with  3 screens for the live...and it's not so easy to sing at altitude) and "we weren't born to follow" (  a video at the rooftop of the London 02 arena)....without to forget the song of Bon "blaze of glory" ( one of his best songs ) at madison Square, NY.

Here is a good show of the famous Britny Fox show in Springfield, USA. A show quiet long with almost 2 hours of music.The dvd has a menu but u cannot select songs. This bootleg has a nice quality due to  a nice image ( no shaking even it's not easy to adjust the taget). The sound is not excellent , quiet raw but enough good to be seeing, with a good singer with hard rock bluesy voice  The track list is taken from the Tommy Paris period or Dean Davidson :"Six Guns Loaded","Long Way To Love" ( good song from the first album) , "Blind In Texas", "Lonely Too Long"," Liar", "Shot From My Gun", " Dream On" ( excellent song from the second album), " Louder","Black and White", "In Motion","Over & Out","Hair Of The Dog" ( a cover of Nazareth), "Girl School","Midnight Moses"," Gudbuy t'Jane".........This show is rockin', thanks guys !

Thanks for the image ( put filter) and the sound , very correct and heavy for this type of show. Many close cameras, moving plans will be appreciate by fans.The line up is: Mikael Åkerfeldt : Vocals, Jonas Renkse : Bass, Anders "Blakkheim", Nyström : Guitars, Martin Axenrot : Drums, Per "Sodomizer" Eriksson : Guitars.With  the nice menu , u can access to the second show from 2008 . But it's not the same quality by the sound ( the image is correct).

 

Recorded at the Greek Theater in California october 19, 1999, this dvd has no menu but a really nice intro with all menbers. The image is full screen, not beautiful but really correct and the sound is better. Just one camera from the right side. Many zooms ( no good framing), better cause the stage is quiet large. Big set list with covers of Peter Green "Oh Well", Led Zep "Whole lotta love " or Black Crows hit "hard to handle" ( remenber MTV) ....Well, if u have the official cd , u will get it for sure !

One more time, the lumberjack has a new dvd. More a compilation with various stuff than a full show .No, go on ur way !. So not too many things, and nothing really new. The sound is better than the image , mostly for the acoustic set. The videos are not very interesting in my opinion except " Stillborn". Have a look before buying ! 



 

A show filmed and recorded at the Rockpalast show on November 15^th, 1996. For a total running time of 84 minutes. The tracks performed are as follows: "One mirror too many, Bring on, bring on, Evil eye, Shake your money maker, Ballad in urgency,Wiser time,Thick N thin,Non-fiction,She gives good sunflowers,Chevrolet, High head blues, Stare is cold, Good Friday, Hard to handle".Musicians are :Chris Robinson: vocals, harmonica, percussion,Rich Robinson: guitar,Marc Ford: guitar,Johnny Colt: bass,Steve Gorman: drums, Ed Hawrysch: keyboards. The sound is  good , better for this type of music with many nuances. Many cameras all over the stage , subdued lighting with a nice stage design ( carpets on the floor...). 

The dvd has a nice artwork and a  menu, every chapter is a song.The show filmed by the Wacken festival is very good. The imge is in 4:3, full screen. the Wacken true metal stage is quiet big. Many cameras recorded that show in 2007, they win the  audience over "valhalla" or the huge end title "lord of the rings". There is  a light show and good for them  it's getting dark at the beginning....but it could  little  be better for such a big band in germany ( except the flames at the end).A must for fans, have a look for other.

The super band  with  the great line up are back with a dvd. U will get the frontman and bass guitarist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath,Trapeze), the  blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa, the drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin, Foreigner) and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Billy Idol, Alice Cooper)....At first, u will love the quality of the image....simply beautiful. More melodic classic-rock than hard rock, u must love 70's style before buying that dvd. The size of the stage of the first show  is medium, better to feel close the event, thanks to the camermen with many closes-up. HD is a revolution to film show so hope it will be a pledge of quality for all the next releases.Great product.

Bangkok, the city of angel is also one of my best place to go out. This dvd is a rip from the vcd release by Solar music. A quality not very good but enough if u like the band. The stage is quiet big and the show is very professional. The place is full , the sound is just correct and the atmosphere is quiet hot ( sorry for the world play with BKK).Short with only 39 mn , here is the track list:  Welcome To Dying,Time What Is Time, And The Story Ends, Born In A Morning Hall,  The Bard's Song - In The Forest,  Mordred's Song, Traveler In Time.

 

A show recorded in Finland  by Firetribe (Nightwish's guitarist Emppu Vuorinen ) , 15th of April 2009.So if u like the band , get the dvd right now. The image is very good, full screen, clear and also subtitle in english . The sound mix is good. The theater is nice, not too small and not too big. u will have a guest for this special night : Annette Olzon on "heart full of fire" (track 12).U will get also the  song " chasing the angels" from the movie " Iron Eagle 2".For the story : the band was originally called False Metal, but they changed their name to Brother Firetribe but  their first album is called "False Metal".About extras, u will get photos and a documentary with subtitle. ...u can see them in the plane, in the bus , visting cities......
