You want to know every DVD about you fav' band? it

LA Guns excelled in a superb sleaze metal with superb sensitive ballads such as "crystal eyes".Well known by all fans of sunset strip hair metal movement. Recorded  in philadelphia  by ( only) 3 cameras with the original line up : phil, tracy, steve.... The dvd has exclusive interviews with all band menbers but it's not very interesting. The real interest of the dvd is the "Live & loud" a pure sleaze live show.Indeed, sleaze by the attitude  and the sound very raw & unpolished, yes many people won't be happy because no touch ups, but fans will like a raw document, sleazy in the spirit.i though Phil cound have a better voice 'cause, here, it's just (listen the ballad). But, in my opinion, it's the interest of the show. Something not polish ! And the band has energy to give and the set list is concentrated to old songs "sex action", "one more reason"....The bad sides of the dvd are the  cameras ( shake too much) and an image too dark. But, it gives a certain style  ( charm) to this live; but don't worry, the dvd is quiet cheap( 13 dollars). Their motto was "born to fight"....the futur don't give us reason.

Big show in Japan, very nice image even it's not excellent, far from dvd shows such as L'Arc en ciel, B'Z or X Japan. Nonetheless, u will enjoy Akira on Guitars. The musicans could be more lively, mostly for Mr Minoru. i think deep thoughts  to Higuchi...RIP man !

A show recorded by WDR in April 2011 in Germany. First of all, the quality is excellent for a tv show.A full image with a complete show: Rock-N-Roll State Of Mind, Hard Times, Supersonic, Loving You Is Killing Me, Down-Dirty, I Wish It Would Rain, Ballad Of Johnny,Cajun Panther, Real Rock Drive, Rum And Coke ( very good feeling  on this  rock song, warm atmospehere on stage), Redemption, Sick And Tired, Drive It Home, Pray For Me, Chain Of Fools,Same Old Story, Down To The Wire, Every Picture Tells A Story / Happy. Ron looks like a old rocker more than the outlaw biker from the 80's ( remenber is appearence in T2 movie).U can hear when he's speaking,  his voice is weak (  he was at the hospital the day before the show......but he's still talkative).The sound is very good. Brillant work from  camera operators 's WDR. Get it !
 

A nice show  filmed on July 15, 1997, at Star Lake Coca-Cola Amphitheatre, Burgettstown.The image is correct not the last HD quality but watchable. Big stage, many  and some new musicians ( also Dale Krantz and Carol for backing vocals), nice light show, many cameras  filmed the show in the old style.If u like the band, u should have the dvd. Nice to see Medlocke in good health.

Me Against The World, American Metal, Master Of Disguise, We Got The Power- drum solo--medley.First point, the image is full screen and quiet correct for a bootleg ( many good zooms). The stage is small with two angels ( black & white) behind Lizzy ( with a death's suit ? then a mask !). Second point, u will recognize this typical & unusual  voice and i have to admit the show is still lively ( hear the audience), no idle time,  as sense of rhythm , sense of fun ( see the Lizzy Tv on"Visual lies").U will also their hit ' Me against the world".....So, with two cam'mix, the guys have made a good job.


 

Live at the Camden Palace is a show from May 85. The image is quiet dark, in 4:3, filmed in old "tube" style. Nonetheless, it will give u a good idea of what was a Lee Aaron show, pure heavy in the spirit ( now she's a jazz vocalist).The set list is heavy also with "metal queen", "call of the wild" or the best "rock me all over".If u like old  style show from 80's, u can appreciate it, for others , not sure u will like this "old metal"... better on cd.

A show recorded in May 7, 1991 at the Stabler Arena, Bethlehem.The band line up  is :Oni Logan - Vocals
,George Lynch - Guitar, Anthony Esposito - Bass, Mick Brown - Drums.With only 33 mn , the concert is short but very watchable, mostly due to a good sound ( nice chorus). The image is in 4:3 and dark. But the only one cameraman did a good job ( i mean good plans, no shaking, clever captures...). Labyrinth formed in 1991 ( Vision) but  with a different line-up now : Robert Tyrant “ vocal",  Cantarell Andrea "guitar" ,Cristiano Bertocchi “ bass", Andrea De Paoli “ keyboard".This pro shot show for the "Banzaï" tour in Shibuya, Tokyo is quiet short , almost 50 mn. The image in 4:3, correct but not HD, The camera at the bottom of the stage is quiet boring but the show is correct and will give u a good idea of their performance.

A show recorded at the M3 Rock Festival (Merriweather Post Pavilion ) in Columbia, MD.May. 12th. 2012.The stage is medium size, recorded during the afternoon so no lights and a short list with only 6 songs. IThe image is very good the sound in full screen, the sound is correct and the band still heavy. Nevertheless, the voice's singer is weak with the age but he still enthusiastic and he still good to hear "let it go" after all these years.Domo arigato gozaimashita !
