Big live show in open air festival. The image is good, the dvd has a menu. Big set list ( many old hits).The stage has a big screen at the rear.The image in 4:3. Really good stuff !
Official dvd. I bought it in Korea and the image is excellent ( good job from cameras).For this edition u get the lyrics so it's a really good point.The stage is in the middle, many room to move.
realesed by Masterplan, that edition has two shows: Seattle 23 june 2000 & Irvine California june 19, 1999.The sound unmixed ( in 5.1) is better that the image ( not very good with a big screen). It's a pity cause it 's well filmed.So it's not the best way to discover that band of course, don't run to buy it , but if u wanna get it for ur collection with title such as "i disappear", "die die my darling", it's ok and the price is quiet cheap.
Double dvd with many hours of live shows & videos ( with a direct access of everything).On the main dvd , u will get a concert recorded at the metalmania in Poland in 2004.A really professional show with big light show ( many red spots) for a festival and a good sound ( except a bad mix of the audience).....just don't be epileptic U will aslo have many videos such as "opium" which suit to the music or a making of " evrything invaded" (not bad but also not very interesting...and in portugese).The second dvd is full of videos archives. U will see many audio cam "the early days 92/94" to see the beginning of Moonspeel and their evolution ( they used corpse painting). Even the first show with an audience is an audio cam, fans will appreciate it.All the years are there til 2005. So ,it will take many hours to watch it ! It's more an history document of a band devoted to the metal than a live show. This second dvd is a present for fans, don't expect an intrinsic quality but more a great search of the past historic ..
TVE chanel recorded that show in 2010 in Madrid for the "Magnetic world" tour. Nice image, wild screen and nice sound.The show begins by a song of Ennio Morricone follows by "Creeping seath"....and two hours of music.Nothing to say about the quality, really professional.Many close ups, large zoom on instruments or faces and u will feel the warm ambiance of spanish kids.....really hot !
A show recorded in July 3, 2011 at Ullevi , Gothenburg, Sweden for one of the big event of the summer the " Big 4 Festival". This killer Show ,captured from TV Station SVT1 Direkt. Broadcasted in 720p, is a must for ur holidays to give u energy. The show has an excellent quality, beautiful image, fullscreen. At first, u will have long interviews of musicians before the show and behind the stage, really cool ! A show in a big stadium, just before the night, people are filmed for a long moment, really awesome until u hear the music of Sergio Morricone....follow by "hit the lights " and the killing "master of puppets" shout by the audience ....At the rear of the stage, u have a giant screen, it makes his effect. The cameramen did a great job, many plans on the audience, great camerawork ,many front/side views of all musicians. Well; if u like Metallica, that show is for u.
If u're looking for a nice show from Lemmy's band, just get that show gave in 2010 at the famous "Rock Am ring" Festival by night .Nothing to say, full screen, many cameras ( even in the audience) , superb plans , big stage with many lights & double screens. Highly recommended......motorizer rules !
One more TV show ( by ZDF) of Motorhead recorded live at the Wacken festival, 6, august 2011.Just one thing, the show is short here with only 5 tracks and 2 interviews, tracks like "Killed by death", "bomber" or "Going to Brazil".The image is very good , full screen, and the stage is huge, great light show with the moving bomber, two screens from each side of the stage and the bullhead in fire, everything to make a tip top show.Open ur eyes wide !
Live in the East Club.Well, it's well done, little bit underground in the spirit, some essential gimmicks from Maniac, a sound very low and with voice not so melodic.......well, it's little bit boring to watch the full show.The image is watchable, no problem it's not a bad bootleg.This show was also recorded and released as a bootleg entitled "The Return."The short set list is:"Funeral Fog "05:24,".Fall Of Seraphs " 06:16, "Carnage" 03:53, ".Necrolust "03:3, "Deathcrush "03:20, "From The Dark Past "05:04, "Chainsaw Gutsfuck "04:28, ".I Am Thy Labyrinth "06:08. A show recorded and filmed at the almighty Hammersmith , september 30, 1992. The dvd has a menu with a " track selection" .The image in 4:3 is very good ( even looks like VHS quality).The band begins the show with 'holy war" follows by the killer song "wake up dead" from "Peace sells" record.Nice stage with many thunderbolts at the back, the lights follow the rapid rhythm of the music and u know they have a good sense of rhythm , so many changing lights.In terms of efficiency, u won't be dispointed, nts.Many details plans even too quick.Just one thing, Dave is still static............as usual but the people are happy. Mission accomplished !
About the concept album (The album was recorded in San Rafael, California during April through June of 2011) :"The album is based on Lulu - two plays originally written by the German playwright Frank Wedekind. A majority of the album's composition is centred around spoken word delivered by Reed over instrumentals composed by Metallica, with occasional backing vocals provided by
Metallica lead vocalist James Hetfield. Reed wrote a majority of the lyrics. "The show recorded by WDR ( Westdeutscher Rundfunk ) studio in Germany ( Cologne) is well done with interviews ( translate in german so u don't hear their voice ???) , nice image ( even too many plans for a cool project) and sound quiet correct ( the mix is not at the top), but it's a good release for "fans" of the project. Depends on u, but the annoying thing is the voice of Lou Reed...so monotonous ! Not my taste.
One more show of Metallica in Rio 4 on september 2011 witha big set list and more than 2 hours of music. A nice image in HD by multi show.The stage is huge with 3 big screens, the speed song "creeping death" to begin the show ( what a nice starter!) and James in a good health ( saying "sing it " to the crowd which goes crazy ! ). U will understand if u like huge show i suggest that one.........time after time.
