You want to know every DVD about you fav' band? it

Recorded live at the Party Metal open air in Germany, 2008.U have a menu for a direct access of tracks or bonus ( in rehearsal in Florida..quiet boring, except for fans).The image is in 4:3 , clear and many cams ( don't expect too much of  decorations, just some lights,  a backdrop of the last album and...nothing else  ).The audio is in dolby stereo.A nice complement of "Frozen alive" by the quality.

The madman has made so many videos on TV, good idea from our friends from South America to did it. Audio in Dolby 2.0.

Full dvd image recorded in Brazil at Citibank Hall - Rio de Janeiro 07.04.2011  and the dvd has a  nice menu ( every chapter is a song ). Big set list ::Bark at the Moon,Let Me Hear You Scream; Mr. Crowley; I Don't Know ,Fairies Wear Boots (Black Sabbath cover),Suicide Solution,Road to Nowhere,War Pigs (Black Sabbath cover),Shot in the Dark, Rat Salad (Black Sabbath cover) ( Gus G played a small part of the Brazilian song "Brasileirinho" ),Iron Man (Black Sabbath cover), I Don't Want to Change the World,Crazy Train, Encore:, Mama, I'm Coming home, Paranoid . The show is recorded by two cameras from the  up & down center in the public  ( to feel the Brazilains kids screaming & clap in their hands " Ohé, Ohé..Ozzy, OZZY !).The stage has a good size but not a big light show ( no fire or big screens). Due to his age, Ozzy is no more a great performer ( still plays with water)  but the show is good (  with a lively crew...good drummer).To sum up: not a tv show but a really  good bootleg made by fan.
 

Just for info the album "Blizzard of Ozz" was released on September 20, 1980 in England and on March 27, 1981 in the United states . It is the first of two studio albums he recorded with the guitarist Randy Rhodes ( he died in 83   and for the small story : "while on tour, the private pilot who was scheduled to ferry the band into the gig took Randy up for a quick joy ride. They buzzed the tour bus and the jackass pilot lost control, crashing and killing himself and Rhoads instantly"), Blizzard of Ozz was a commercial success and was certified 4x Platinum in the U.S. Good news, all the dvd has subtitle in french ( also in spanish, engish and Japanese...). Many guests like Lemmy, Halford, Vaï or his wife. Many rare footage, photos, studio sessions, even the  famous story  " the birds"...With the set menu , u can select all the rare shows  such as : "the Palladium" 81 ( they made two shows in NY  that night), New Mexico 82... well rework-ed but it looks old ( it's a  big present  for fans).After the Black Sabbath Cross Box ( nice but could be better), u will get the deluxe edition with 180-gram LP Vinyl versions of both albums (original album only), the "Thirty Years After The Blizzard" DVD Documentary, over 70 minutes of additional rare live performances and interviews, a replica of Ozzy's iconic cross, and a 2 sided poster and cd's. Great year for Ozzy fans.

A 2 hours  show filmed and recorded at Tel Aviv in december 2010 after 20 years in the music buisness ( i remenber them on the french Holy Records).The image is very good , full screen , many nice plans and also bad ones ( due to the presence of some cameras from the audience), some english subtitle to understand Kobi.....but don't expect too much about the light show, mostly when it's stroboscopic effects. About the music u will have new and old songs, a prog/ heavy  & folk music....with a  point of death  with many chorus. U will understand,  u must be open minded to get in this universe.The singer Kobi Farhi is the main attraction with yossi on guitars, others are more serious...Many  different guests, but when it's too much oriental, i don't follow it, too boring for me but i am sure it will be a pleasure for many of u. Not easy to discribe the dvd, too rich for that, many things inside, so u know the quality is there so go to have a look !

These last years, we have many documentary about life of heavy metal, metal in the world or how to explain metal.....Here it's rock document about Ozzy's life ( good image, good sound in dolby & DTS) ,  featuring never before seen footage, new interviews with Ozzy himself, his brothers and sisters, his children ( first time i heard he's got 5 kids from two marriages), his"old" bandmates in Black Sabbath .they still talk about  the biting of a bat on stage , the tragic death of Randy Rhoads and the reality TV show The Osbournes, the drugs, alcohol excess....to sum up : A life of excess but still alive ( u can make thinking  about it). But it's a movie about the person ( parents, Sharon, youthful misdemeanours, objects, many pictures.......a long list in fact) ,a private rock document about Ozzy and not about  the Ozzy's band so don't expect  too see the great Jack E Lee or just  little bit of  Zack.U see also something important about "world" artists  who kill u, it's jet lag.Some video  archives ( like Randy Rhoads) look old and it could be better .
