DVD D
Pro shot dvd from Dangerous toys ( with videos clips bonus) is quiet rare , isn't it? So get it.The dvd has a menu for chapter selection.Good to see "teasing and pleasing" video (taken from VH1) one of their best song, some interview, the concert in Largo has a quality acceptable (multi cameras and a good sound) and show us that Dangerous Toys deserve more than they got (maybe due to the third album). At the end u have 5 videos & interview. A dvd to get for all sleaze's diehard.
U have a menu for this dvd from Crime Crow production.Yes i bought it when i see this concert was in Nimes ( remenber the concert of rammstein there in 2005).2 hours of music. The concert begins by "calling Elvis" , "walk of life" ( with his famous keyboards intro), , the superb " Romeo & Juliet" and his saxophone player; " the mega hit "Money for nothing" with his killing electric intro ( the audience's getting crazy....so Mark stop it...)....The cameras are presents but the image is just good. It's not the last within Temption or Mika for dvd 's quality but it's worth to buy it.
An audio-cam' bootleg for fans. The image ( with not so many colors) is so so and shaking little bit , even if the camera recording is in the centre's terrace. The sound is quiet better....even still raw. Many plans on Ted Nugent ( in zebra 's suit). But it's really energic show, very festive. It's a pity they don't give someone the means to make on official recording.
A fine cast for this outdoor festival. Seb bach open the festivities to support his own album " angel down" ( beaware, it's heavy). This audience shot is not bad at all. The image is very good ( except for the framing...but not easy to hide the camera and to film). The sound is ( even far) correct and the performance quiet heavy ( look at the main guitarist even if he takes acoutic guitar on "i remenber u") or the drummer . The show ends with the power "youth gone a wild" ( at the time when Bach was at the top ....and less kilos ).Same remark for the Dokken's show. They open the set with " kiss of death", "into the fire" ( maybe cause it's summer)..Don don't move like Bach but give a correct show even looks tired "alone again".He ends the show with one of his greatest hit " In my dreams". A show just correct but not transcendant .... and without final reminder.
Even it's a cd/dvd set, i could regret to bought it cause this product is more a bootleg than a quality show ( just a few cameras with not the same quality to film ).Recorded live in 2005 at the Red Eyed fly in Austin, Texas.A small club where it's not so easy to move. The club is quiet dark. Many titles on this set list ( 21 tracks) such as "Teasen pleasn'" , "pissed" or "ten boots","take me drunk" (Songs not on "included CD" are available for download by a code )...It's incredibly sleazy, Jason McMaster is a great frontman ( u can think to Axl Rose), the show is raw and the sound better than the image. So before buying, just know it's not a perfect show.
I've never been a big fan of Black meatl, mostly of the old school generation or underground one.Not my style. But i have to admit that some bands have something more than others ( Cradle of Filth, Dimmu...). So, it was a really good surprise to watch this dvd.Just have a look of Wacken, august 2007 ( dvd n° 2). The visuel is very nice, the black stage is quiet big and see all this fans, it kicks !! ( and the bassist has a nice clear voice). One more point, it's 6 videos selection. To my opinion, that's the best value in that style. Watch "Progenies of the great apocalypse" or the very satanic "vredesbyrd" ( a video where u see a bloody Christ on a cross, many flames....), same style with "sorgens" ( one mre time about church) or " the sacrilegious scorn" ( about religious sacrifice and inquisition, and u can see a monk throw his wood's cross)......The P3 session are less interesting ( sound or style more common) . The dvd 1 show u a live show in Oslo , Norway in 2007, their country and a room full of die-hards ( 10 titles) but i really prefer to see the wacken show. U have also a behind the scene ( with a small camescope... but not really exctiing) some extracts of Berlin and London 's concerts ( with a sound more underground). To conclude, Dimmu give us a full product. Thanks !
One more episode of CMT crossroads showcase. A nice dvd with a nice menu , a sound in 5.1, a beautiful image, a pleasant show very quiet but interesting with nice songs of the Leppards such as "Photograph" ( such a great song...and this voice !!! ), "hysteria" or "pour some sugar on me"...U will also get the country hit of Taylor "love story".About her, she has a nice voice ( not metal at all....of course ) and what a body.....u'll get also lot of mini interviews of all artist ( no subtitle) and some 3 bonus songs:"love " (from taylor ) or the acoustic "two steps behind" ( with 8 acoustic guitars) & "our song". Joe said: ""What an absolute pleasure it was to work with Taylor and her band who are a great set of musicians, Myself and Taylor blended really well together, I think, and everybody, both bands and the crowd, had a great time. I'm really glad we had the opportunity to do this."So, it's esay to get it at Walmart for a low very price.
